Writing Story Cycles: This is an advanced fiction writing course and tailor-made for writers who have successfully completed ENG 3800. The goal of this course is to write two inter-connected short stories and workshop them in the class. We will read published story cycles, watch short films, and movies that are made up of short stories to learn techniques of storytelling. Story cycles are short story collections that are made up of interconnected short stories but each story must also be a self-contained piece.
