TR 12:45 PM

Park Hall 61

This is a split-level class that is, more or less, on the History of the Book and technologies of textual transmission in the medieval and early modern periods. Please see the course description for ENGL 4290.

Students in the graduate section will be expected to complete the same work as the undergraduates and alsl to pursue an independent project in their own field of specialization along the lines of inquiry we study as a class. The Special Collections Librarians and I will be delighted to help you find a suitable object from within the library's collections in your field, and I'm happy to talk in advance with any grad student who is thinking of taking this class.
