ENGL 8685: Topics in Postcolonial Theory and Literature
“Postcolonial Polemics”: this course will investigate a range of issues (language, identity politics, genre, theoretical approaches, etc.) that have fostered energetic debates in the field. We will engage with literary texts from South Asia and the Middle East to explore issues connected to coloniality, decoloniality, and postcoloniality.
