This hybrid seminar/workshop will explore the formal and topical possibilities of life writing beyond the classic autobiography. Outside readings will include poetry, autobiographical fiction, essays, and diaries. Possible authors may include Ed Roberson, Robert Glück, Alice Notley, Audrey Lorde, Keith Waldrop, Chris Kraus, Paul Auster, and Sonny Rollins.
